Overview
Prospeir is built on a simple principle: your financial life is your own. We collect as little personal information as possible, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to target you with ads. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
What We Collect
On prospeir.com: If you submit your email address through the quiz or any sign-up form, we collect that address. That is the only personal information we collect on the public site.
In Steward:When you create a household account, we store the information needed to run it on our servers: your name, email, the financial accounts you add or connect, transactions, budget, goals, and giving records. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash. If you connect a bank through Plaid, the access tokens are encrypted at rest, and your bank login credentials are never shared with us. We use this data only to operate Steward for your household. We never sell it, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not use third-party analytics that follow you across websites.
How We Use Your Email
Your email address is added to our mailing list via MailerLite, our email marketing platform. We use it to send you product updates, Kingdom financial content, and occasional announcements about Prospeir and Steward. We do not share your email with other companies for their marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@prospeir.com to be removed from our list at any time.
Third-Party Services
MailerLite: processes subscriber emails on our behalf. Their privacy policy is available at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Stripe: processes subscription payments for Steward Base and Premium plans. Stripe handles your payment card data directly; we never see or store card numbers. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
Plaid:used in Steward's Base and Premium tiers to connect your bank accounts for balance and transaction sync. Plaid connects directly to your bank; your bank credentials are never shared with Prospeir. Their privacy policy is at plaid.com/legal/privacy-policy.
No other third-party services receive your personal data.
Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request deletion of your email address from our list
• Delete your Steward data at any time from the Settings page within the app
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what data is collected, the right to correct inaccurate data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Minnesota residents have additional rights under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act (MCDPA), including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and the right to opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Data Security
Email addresses stored in MailerLite are protected by MailerLite's security standards. In Steward, your password is stored as a one-way hash, never in readable form, and you reset it through a link sent to your email. Any bank access tokens from Plaid are encrypted at rest, and your bank login credentials never pass through Prospeir. We do not sell or share your financial data.
Children
Prospeir and Steward are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Prospeir after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
